Belper Town maintain their unbeaten start to the season after a 1-0 home win against Stocksbridge Park Steels.
Belper Town Manager Grant Black named an unchanged starting eleven after the 1-0 win against Witton Albion in midweek.
With two minutes on the clock, Nathan Curtis travelled down the right hand side and crossed the ball into Alex Peterson. Peterson headed the ball onto the crossbar and the ball came to Danny Gordon and Gordon tapped home into an empty net.
Very few clear cut chances from either side before half time meant the teams went into the break with a slender lead for Belper Town.
Although Belper could not add to the score line at the end of the game Belper Town Manager Grant Black was really pleased with the overall performance and the final result.
Belper are now up to seventh in the table after playing only six league games, Belper will be playing Rushall Olympic on Saturday 5th October in the FA Cup 3rd Qualifying Round at the Raygar Stadium.
