Chesterfield will look to bounce back from Saturday’s disappointing defeat away at Maidenhead when they take on Sutton United at the Technique Stadium.

The Opposition
The league leaders come into the game in excellent form. Their last defeat came away at Hartlepool when they were beaten 1-0 back in January by Dave Challinor’s side. Since then Matt Gray’s side are unbeaten with seven wins out of eight.

Harry Beautyman- The 28-year-old started his career in the youth setup at Leyton Orient, signing a pro-contract in 2019. Beautyman made no first-team appearences for Orient, instead he spent time out on loan at St Albans City and Hastings United before joining Sutton in 2011 for his first spell. After making 81 appearances he departed for Welling United in order to play at a higher level. His success attracted the eyes of Peterborough United who he joined on loan before signing a permanent contract. The midfielder went on to represent Stevenage and Northampton Town in the Football League before re-joining Sutton in January 2018.
In previous weeks the midfielder has scored some crucial late goals for the U’s. He’s found the back of the net nine times so far this campaign and is his side’s top scorer.
Previous Meetings
In the reverse fixture Chesterfield claimed all three points at Gander Green Lane when Haydn Hollis’ header proved the difference. Both times the U’s have visited the Technique Stadium they have returned to South London empty handed. In 2019 the Spireites claimed a 3-0 win and the following season they won 1-0.
Team News
Curtis Weston is back available for selection serving his one-game suspension. Joe Rowley is also in contention after recovering from an injury he picked up away at Boston earlier on this season.

"We have to utilize the squad, we have to make changes with the amount of games that we have. We're going to lose games, no team in the world wins all their games. I know what this groups all about, we're going to have a right go at it tomorrow."
On Sutton the gaffer said: ”They're a physical side and have lots of strengths, but if we dominate the ball and play like we can then we will be okay. I'm very confident in the squad and it will certainly be a good game tomorrow."
