PREVIEW: BUXTON TRAVEL TO RUSHALL

UP NEXT:

We are on the road as we face Rushall Olympic away from home.

The Bucks

The Bucks go into this game following a 0-0 draw against Scarborough last week.

Following the draw manager Craig Elliott said:

"Scarborough are a good team and we played well, dominating possession and racking up shots, but we missed out on an opportunity for all three points. We didn't have enough quality in the final third.

"Still, it's been a good week, just disappointing we couldn't add another win. We're in a good place, have a clear week for training and recuperation, and will be ready to go again at Rushall Olympic on Saturday."

Opposition

The club finished 5th in the Southern Football league last season and were promoted through playoffs to get to the National League North for the first time in their history.

They play their games at Dales Lane which has a capacity of 1980.

The club are nicknamed The Pics.

They currently sit in 19th after picking up 41 points from 36 games.

Rushall won their last game 2-1 against Banbury with Maher and Oseni getting the goals on Tuesday night.

Liam McDonald is the man in charge having previously being in charge of Solihull Moors he took over in 2017.

One to watch

Ronan Maher has been a crucial part of Rushalls side this season after originally joining on loan until January. Walsall then recalled him and he returned to The Pics last month on loan.

The 19 year old is a midfielder that has made 2 appearances for the Republic of Ireland’s under 19s.

Last Time Out

The Bucks drew 2-2 after coming from behind twice with Centre Back Max Hunt grabbing both the goals at The Silverlands.
