Preview Bucks face Grantham in promotion push

Up next we are once again at home at The Tarmac Silverlands Stadium as we welcome Grantham on the 9th April for a 3pm kickoff.


The Bucks

We go into this game after a 0-0 game against Lancaster last Saturday.


The Bucks now have 4 game left and sit top of the league 2 points ahead of second place South Shields. In a crucial point of the season now the boys need all the fans support!


Opposition

Grantham are bottom of the league and got relegated last week on 27 points.


The gingerbreads have lost their last 3 games most recently losing 4-1 to Stafford Rangers.


Their manager is Caretaker boss Matt Chatfield who has been assistant to both Greene and Carlton Palmer this season at the club.


Grantham play their home games at The South Kesteven Sports Stadium in the in Lincolnshire. The stadium can hold up to 7,500 spectators and has an athletics track around the pitch.


One to watch

Ricky Miller signed in December for Grantham and has scored 8 goals in 14 games.


The 33 year old forward was named Conference North player of the year in 2013-14 for scoring 24 goals for Boston United.


Last time out

Buxton won 3-0 with an Ash Chambers brace and a Diego De Girolamo goal when the 2 sides met in at the start of the season in August.
