Matt Sargent scored late on to come away with all three points against the ten men of Buxton with Kieran Burton being sent off in the second half.
The Bucks started the game on the front foot with an early corner ball coming to Will Trueman on the overlap from Johnny Johnston and his shot was blocked behind by Roscoe.
14 minutes in Radcliffe exchanged some passes on the right hand side and the ball fell to Jordan Hulme however he was dispossessed in Buxton’s half.
After 20 minutes Buxton had two quick chances the first when Burton found Dermi Lusala with a cross field ball and he passed it into Josh Popoola who turned his man and got a shot off forcing Mateus Hewelt into a save.
Following this Buxton won the ball back in the midfield and broke away with pace Johnston firing down the face of goal when he reached the box the keeper after parrying the shot made sure he claimed the ball.
The pressure kept coming as well when Popoola rose highest from a corner and headed the ball just wide of the target.
Radcliffe then broke on the counter attack Danny Greenfield hitting a cross come shot that narrowly went wide as they went into the break all square.
And the home side started the second half on top after True Grant’s ball over the top was met by Elliott with Hewelt coming out to claim the effort.
However the hosts had a curveball thrown at them when after 57 minutes Burton was beaten by former Buck Brad Jackson and the referee didn’t hesitate to send the defender off when he was brought down.
With Buxton going down to ten men this then saw a spell of possession for the visitors but they were unable to create anything clear cut until the 78th minute.
Jordan Hulme saw his shot blocked by substitute Liam Ravenhill as he looked for the opener.
Radcliffe then continued to keep pushing with Grant having to come off of his line quickly to deny Luca Navarro and put the ball behind for a corner.
Into added time Radcliffe did get their goal Navarro once again involved after coming off the bench forcing Grant into a save and former Buxton player Sargent was there to poke in the winner.
