NATIONAL LEAGUE NORTH PREVIEW: BUXTON TRAVEL TO PETERBOROUGH IN FIRST AWAY GAME OF THE SEASON

The Bucks


The Bucks go into this game following a 2-0 win on Tuesday as they made it 9 points from 9 so far.


Josh Popoola scored a header and Ethan Fitzhugh scored a brilliant first-time strike to secure the 3 points.


Following the victory manager John McGrath said:


"Brilliant in the first half and quality remained for the full 90 minutes. There was loads of energy from everyone, putting two halves together in positive fashion.


"We had plenty of chances to increase the score but what matters is another three points, nine out of nine now. The crowd kept high volume support going throughout and the lads really appreciated that. Now for Peterborough. We'll be ready."


Opposition


The club finished 15th in theNational League  North last season.


They play their games at Lincoln Road which holds 2300.


The club are nicknamed The Turbines.


They currently sit in 19th after 1 point from the first 3 games.


They drew their last game to Hereford with Dion Sembie- Ferris getting the goal for Peterborough.


They have joint managers with Luke Steele and Micheal Gash both in charge.


One to watch


Micheal Gash as well as being manager is a striker for the club.


The 37 year old was born in West Germany and played in the football league with Barnet in 2015.
