UP NEXT:

Buxton travel to Hereford for their third away game in a row on Tuesday 25th February.

The Bucks

The Bucks go into this game after losing narrowly 1-0 to Curzon Ashton at the weekend.

Following the loss manager John McGrath said:

"There are still 36 points to play for. Now, it's a 12-game season for us. and we'll have to get it right at both ends.

Their goal today was of our making, caused by negative play. But I'd still have been disappointed without that goal. We had countless chances to turn things around and earn the points.

We can play brilliant stuff but only goals win games. it is a squad effort, led by goals."

Opposition

They were founded in 2014 as a phoenix club following the winding up of Hereford United.

The club are nicknamed The Bulls because of the Hereford cattle breed and a bull features on the club crest.

They play their games at Edgar Street which has a capacity of 5250. Their record attendance at this ground is 4683.

They reached the FA Cup second round in the 2017-18 season.

Their manager is Paul Caddis who took charge in April 2023. This is first role as a manager and previously as a player he played over 100 times for Birmingham.

Last season they finished 11th in the National League North.

This is a league that they have been in since the 2018-19 season and last season was their highest finish so far.

They currently sit 4th in the league on 59 points from 34 games.

The Bulls have won their past four games in the league and sit 2nd in the form table for the past 5 games.

In their last game they beat Alfreton 2-0 with Yusifu Ceesay and Remaye Campbell getting the goals.

One to watch

Ex Buxton player Theo Richardson has become a fan favourite since joining the club on loan from AFC Fylde in January.

He has already kept 5 clean sheets since joining Hereford.

When at Buxton he won the Northern Premier League.

Last Time Out

Earlier on this season Andrew Williams scored in injury time to seal all three points for Hereford at the Silverlands after Connor Kirby cancelled out Ahkeem Rose’s early goal.

Last time at Hereford Williams scored twice late on to rescue a point after Buxton were 2-0 up with an own goal and goal from Diego De Girolamo.
