UP NEXT:

Buxton return back home as they face South Shields on 11th February 2025 with a 3pm kickoff.

The Bucks

The Bucks go into this game after a big 5-1 victory at the weekend against Rushall Olympic.

Five different players scored (Burton, Johnston, Brennan, Popoola and Ewing) to secure the win for the away side.

Following the win manager John McGrath said:

"We created a lot of chances midweek without getting anywhere. Today was very different.

True Grant made a fantastic save when it was 0-0 and then it was all about our front-foot, quick passing style, particularly in the second half, with three points in the bag.

Oli Ewing had his first start for us and he was the best player on the pitch. He scored his first goal for Buxton as well.

It is pleasing that we can bring players off the bench to add even more positivity.

Different players coming on the field, but standards never dropped. It's a squad game.

Two home games next and we can look at how we use our squad to best effect."

Buxton have confirmed the return of Cian Coleman who comes back to the club on a season long loan from Leeds. He won the October player of the month and whilst with the club scored 6 goals in 15 appearances.
