Buxton take a break from league action as they travel to Darlington in the FA Trophy.
The Bucks
The Bucks go into this game after losing 2-0 to Brackley on Tuesday.
Following the loss manager John McGrath said:
“Brackley sat in deep following their strict game plan and it was a good away performance. Mostly, we didn't move the ball quickly enough, nor get behind their defence often enough.”
"Connor Kirby was a big loss for us but that doesn't paper over the cracks, because it's a squad game. Anyway, I'm very pleased at the points we amassed in that great run, so prefer to think about that rather than dwell too much on tonight's set-back.”
"The FA Trophy at Darlington on Saturday will give is a break from the league and it's another important game for us."
Buxton have had a poor record in recent years in this competition having not won since 2019.
