Buxton are at home again with a break from league action as they return to Derbyshire Senior Cup action against Belper Town.

The Bucks

The Bucks last game was at the weekend where they lost 3-1 to Peterborough Sports.

Tommy Elliott scoring the only goal for The Bucks.

Following the loss manager John McGrath said:

"Considering the number of opportunities we had, this should have been a win.

In the second half we had chance after chance. But I have to admit it was a game where we weren't good enough in either box, despite being outstanding in the middle of the field.

Their first two goals were from set pieces and we have to clear our lines better than that.

Tommy scored a good goal and our attacking football pleased the crowd, but you have to put the chances away. We created enough to win two games of football."

The club finished 6th in the NPL division one East last season.

They play their games at The Raygar Stadium which holds a capacity of 2650.

The club are nicknamed The Nailers.
